Not at all. Non-members are encouraged to visit Scottsdale Prospers to experience a meeting firsthand before making any decision about joining. Your first visit is completely free.
Our weekly meetings run approximately 90 minutes, following BNI's structured agenda. Members often arrive a few minutes early to network, and many stick around after for one-on-ones as well.
Bring plenty of business cards — you'll want to exchange them with members. If you have any marketing materials or brochures, feel free to bring those as well. Come ready to introduce yourself and your business in about 60 seconds.
Visiting is just attending a meeting to experience the chapter with no commitment. Joining means becoming a paid BNI member, committing to weekly attendance, and actively participating in the referral exchange. We encourage everyone to visit a few times before deciding if membership is right for them.
BNI chapters allow only one member per professional category. You can check our member directory to see current categories. If your category is open, we'd love to talk with you about membership. If it's taken, you're still welcome to visit and enjoy the meeting!
Yes. The Improv at Desert Ridge is located in the Desert Ridge Marketplace, which has ample free parking. We suggest arriving 10–15 minutes early to find parking and get settled before the meeting begins.
BNI membership fees vary and cover both a national BNI membership fee and local chapter dues. Exact current pricing will be shared during or after your visit. Most members find that a single good referral more than covers the annual cost — often many times over.
